Life is a Journey.

My love doesn't think I should mail it out and that I should keep all my cards. I said, "What's the point of making cards if I don't send them!" hahaThis is the back view.

Craft day!

We made a paper bird mobile using scraps of paper. We didn't get a chance to hang it because silly me forgot to bring the strings.

Flourish and flowers

Green flowers are unusual and different from the common floral colors people normally use for crafts and well anything. They aren't so bad...actually not bad at all!

I swear Prima makes the BEST paper flowers! Love the feel/texture of mulberry paper. Hmmm wonder if I can find that kind of paper and make my own flowers. *googles* haha

Misc. Scraps

After unpacking and assembling furniture from Ikea there were cardboard and 2 boards of styrofoam leftover. Before I chucked the huge cardboard into the recycling bin, I drew a monster on it and left it in front of someone's door. Loud scream from victim = mission accomplished :)

With the styrofoam board I plastered a pinkish tone color onto it and drew some leaves/vines. It turned out pretty nifty.

Cute paper bags

I pick these cuties up at Daiso! Daiso has the cutest nik naks for cheap. It even comes with stickers to seal the bag. Isn't the lace ribbon adorable?

NOOB.

Today I was trying to use the emboss resist technique and I failed. I stamped the images with Versamark and forgot about clear embossing powder. Whoops. Now there's blobs of ink everywhere haha! What a waste of card stock.

Hmm now I think I overheated the powder...the image is really flat. I think it's suppose to have some sort of a dimension. lol such a noob.

Easy DIY spring vase.

This was an impromptu handmade vase by my friend Andrea. She took a Coca-cola 2liter bottle and cut 40% from the top off. Then she just covered it was lilac organza! Easy peasy! I like how the flowers look like they're chilling in a pouch.

When I get flowers I use to put them in the largest cup I could find. If there were too much I would divide them and put them in several tall glasses LOL I know it's tacky, but I don't get flowers often enough to invest in a vase.

Simple Vintage.

I made this card for a friend who left to New York :( I'm really into the shabby chic look/designs. Florals and damasks are my favorite to play around with. The card is really prettier in person. The card stock I used has a soft pearlescent surface on top of the design.

Addiction.

These are only a FEW pieces from a packet that I bought. There are more assorted designs and sizes, but there would be too many photos to take.

I LOVE PAPER. Whenever I make a stop at the mall, grocery store or any kind of store I will dart to the paper/craft aisle.

As a paper crafter you can never have too much! :)

Sweet.

Desserts and white wine are definitely my number one guilty pleasure. They are quite the pair. ;)
