Spring semi-formal greeting!

I cut out flower shapes from  organza/tulle material and slowly waved the end of the petals over a flame so it would curl, giving it more dimension. Cutting a hole on the side of the card for the ribbon was rather difficult because my scissors are ginormous! I messed up a few times >:(.

It looked too plain with just the purple so I added a thin white ribbon in the center. I finally got my hands on some "round" corner paper punches that I bought for a steal! I got excited so I made this lol

Now who shall I give it to....hmmm Guess I'll have to wait for a friend who'll have a spring wedding. It's definitely not a birthday card.

Happy Birthday Shannon!

This was a VERY last minute card for my hubby's coworker! All I did was cut out the shape of a cupcake, embossed the cupcake top with swirls and added glitter, tied a ribbon, slapped a name tag, and cherry on top! *yawns* I'm going to bed now :)

Dream. Shine. Sparkle.

I used a flower punch from the fiskar's spring collection. Punching out multiple flowers and curling and inking the ends before stacking them on top of each other.

I have a thing for fairies because they are magical, beautiful and kick ass :)

I had some scraps of paper left from trimming/cutting and decided to make a mini card.

Sometimes when I'm not careful, I transfer ink from my fingers onto areas of the card :( Luckily, I'm awesome at improvising! I just stamped the areas where I messed up and place a piece of card stock in the center. Originally I wanted the inside to be plain white, but I guess this is nicer anyways!

Ponchos

Last Thursday the gals and I had dinner at Ponchos in West Vancouver. When I we went inside I was surprised to see how fancy this place was compared to all the Mexican restaurants I've been to. The waiters were dressed in traditional Mexican dresses too! This place is too cute.

Fruity Mango Margarita to start off the dinner! It's so good that my friend ninja it away from me because she finished hers.
Pollo in Salsa Verde served with beans and rice.

Beef Burrito served with rice and beans.
Steam clams with tomatillo sauce. The Zesty flavour of tomatillo was the perfect sauce to drizzle on top of the clams.
The salsa was the best tasting salsa ever! *drools* I even used it in my fajitas. It was that good! I wanted to order some to-go so I can eat it with chips, but I forget. Next time.

The Beef Fajitas was served with corn tortillas, guacamole, and sour cream. This was a build your own fajitas type of deal. Even without tortillas the beef and sauteed onions were a delight.
